ooooohh i do like the nutcracker !! i started liking it because of barbie and i love watching ballet performance videos, especially the sugar plum fairy’s dance !!

Composer fact #3: Debussy was an impressionist composer and wanted his pieces to convey specific things. He wrote one titled “Nuages” and was supposed to portray clouds!!! And “La Catedral Engloutie” was supposed to be a cathedral rising and sinking under the water 😌

ooooh that's so interesting cause i only know of impressionism in terms of art and paintings and how its focus is mostly on the movement of light. its so cool seeing the classical music angle to this !!
