Thursday (Al-Khamīs) is the fifth day of the week, and the day on which the features of the Earth, namely the rivers, mountains, and the like, were created. Allah, the One True God, created these features before creating the humans, so that the Earth would be fit for them when they came. Allah has the Power to make all the creations in one moment. He Willed for this not to be the case so that the humans would learn from this to not be hasty in doing things.
