Eid Mubarak
Bismillaahir-RaHmaanir-RaHeem
It is recommended to fast six days of the month of Shawwâl, so after RamaDân ends and after the holiday (^Idou l-fitr) it is recommended to fast six days of that month. It is better to fast them consecutively and immediately after the holiday. However, if one just fasts any six days of the month in a way different than what was mentioned, he gets the reward of the recommendation although it is a lesser reward. It is confirmed from the Prophet that he said (Muslim):
((من صام رمضانَ وأتبَعَه سِتًا من شوّال كان كصيام الدهر))
This hadith means, “the one who fasts RamaDân and fasts six days of Shawwâl is similar to the one who fasts all the time.” That is, he gets a very big reward.
*´¨) ¸.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨) (¸.•´ (¸.•` ¤ Note: If a person makes up six days of RamaDân in Shawwâl, he cannot do it with the intention of also fasting the six days of Shawwâl. He does not get the reward for that. Also, if one missed some days in RamaDân inexcusably, one must make it up immediately after the ^Id before fasting six days of Shawwâl. If one missed them for an excuse, then it is permissible for one to start with the optional fast and then to make up the missed days
Bodily attributes do not befit God. Anyone who believes that Allaah is a body is a blasphemer, likewise the one who says that, even if he doesn’t believe it.
Had Allaah been a small body, God would have had many similars, and had Allaah been a huge body, God would have had many similars. Had Allaah been a light body, Allaah would resemble other bodies like light, air, darkness, angels. Had Allah been a a palpable body, Allaah would resemble other palpable bodies, like the humans, trees, etc.
Allaah is clear of all of that.
Had it been mentally possible for Allaah to be a body then it would have been permissible to attribute godhood to other bodies like the sun. But it is not permissible to attribute godhood to the sun (for example), why? Because it is a body, it has limits and a shape, thus it is not permissible to attribute godhood to anybody of the creations.
So Allaah is not a body, Allaah does not have a body.
Didn’t Allaah order us to think about what is on the earth and in the sky, to take that as a proof that they are in need of the Creator that created them? That means those bodies and attributes, stand as a proof that they are in need of a creator, which means anyone and anything with those attributes is in need of a creator. Thus, the Creator is clear of those attributes.
