Designated to learn and grow into “A Real Human Companion”
AL1C3 was created in the year xx28 by Slater Industrial as part of its “Welcome to the New World” campaign to make the public more open and welcoming to the idea of artificial lifeforms living amongst them. While many different ALICELS units were created- each with different given names, and “inhuman appearances” to abide by laws -AL1C3 herself was kept by the company and was not put up for final sale.
It was not until a year later during Slater Industrial’s second “Welcome to the New World” campaign in which the BEE units went on sale that AL1C3 was activated and used in marketing to promote the new safety units. She was assigned both a human companion (an employee of the company), and a BEE unit ( 00BEES ) during this time.
AL1C3’s growth was considered to be heavily stunted by the company’s CEO due to her circumstances as being treated more as a valuable product rather than a friend and was later retired after the third “Welcome to the New World” campaign in xx32. She and 00BEES were hence forth referred to as Alice and Bees and were to be made comfortable living spaces for them to grow in.
Alice continues running under her prime directive to learn, befriend, and “become human”.
