This is a great article on creating a mobile website for your library. It's something that all libraries should have in place, and if you don't, this gives you the most important features that you should have once you create one!

I love subject guides, and would take a job doing nothing but making them. They are both more and less important in our low-income library, where where few patrons are Internet users familiar with the likes of Amazon or the OPAC, but where circulation is so heavy on best sellers and DVDs. Over the summer I've been working at this library, pathfinders have been very low priority as we prepare for a move, but I hope things change once the dust settles.
Also, this list fails to mention Glogster, a tool I used pretty successfully for school last spring.
