My daughter loves the show, so she picked Bakugou and I was happy to make the cosplay for her, as it was a fun challenge! As for Aizawa, I am a single mom and a teacher so I really appreciate his “tired father figure” energy.

It has really added a fun element to my relationship with my daughter. It is fun to build cosplays together and then show off our (well, mostly my) hard work at conventions. We have made a lot of friends through cosplay. It is also a great hobby for me and a way to learn new skills and become more confident.

We loved the amount of cosplayers we saw at Anime Los Angeles. At some other conventions, there are “slow days” for cosplay, but here, everyone was giving 100% every day. Also love that it is in Long Beach because we were able to squeeze in an Aquarium trip too.
