Solange, for me, is such a testament to timing and trusting your own process; having faith in your own creativity.

She’s been a part of the entertainment industry for more than a decade, sometimes in her sister’s shadow, but never failing to carry her own. She knew she too was born for a place on the stage, and instead of chasing another’s fame, or complaining when she felt she hadn’t gotten her “moment”, she’s focused in on her own image and sound, perfecting it with each jam session and completed project. I’m living for this woman and her artistic journey. “When I Get Home” is a perfect continuation of “Seat At The Table”.
