"Killed that filthy scourge for real. She was right inside the city and I waited til no one was looking and just took her out. Pointy-eared undead freak…" It went on like that for a while. Bellamy followed long enough to get some more details of where the supposed-attack had happened. On the one hand, a possible Alliance citizen could have just been murdered. Sure, not everyone gave a damn about Death Knights but you couldn’t make distinctions like that. On the other hand, she’d overheard "Nah, not a Night Elf. Looked like one of them fel-sucking things anyway…" which meant one of a few things she could think of. And her curiosity needed to be satisfied. She pushed her way through the underbrush and stopped, squinting at a smear of something dark on the leaves. Moving on, quietly slipping in and out of shadow, the Gnome stopped at the unnaturally-bent limb. The glimmer of something that might be armor. The unmistakeable silhouette of a pointed ear. Bellamy made her way down into the ravine and picked her way closer to the body there. It was a terrible idea, but she didn’t see a weapon near the crumpled figure so she edged a little closer. It looked like the woman had suffered serious fall damage and maybe a stabbing or seven. She nudged the body with the non-business end of her axe, waited, and pushed again. Hard enough to roll it over this time. The eyes opened. She almost (ALMOST) peed herself. "Wow uh… is there… someone I can call?" She stared at the body (wasn’t breathing but did occasionally blink but then Death Knight so who the hell knew) as it stared back and thought for a moment. When she spoke next it was in Thalassian. Her accent was good (she’d practiced a lot) but her words were careful. "If I get you back to Silvermoon…" She imagined she saw something like a nod of consent. She didn’t know how long the woman had left. But she knew how long it would take her to get to Eversong on her chopper. She lifted a stubby finger in the universal sign for ‘just a minute, I’ll be right back’, and vanished into the bushes. Maybe the woman would die - or whatever - before she got back. Maybe she’d die on the way or whenever she made it there. But if Bellamy had anything to say about it she wasn’t going to die in a ditch in Elwynn.
