Obviously Alanna and Kel face vastly different challenges in pretending to be a boy vs. openly training as a girl, but what I find even more interesting is the difference in their motivations. Alanna became a knight because she didn't want to become a lady. She wanted Glory and Adventure and Grand Heroism, but in a remote and almost abstract sense.

Which is cool. But Kel became a knight because she really wanted to be a knight, with all the day-to-day drudgery that entails. I mean, look at Squire: she spends most of that book head to toe in mud helping poor people in crisis and she loves it and I think that's kind of amazing.

EVERYONE STAY CALM, THE DEMO DROPPED!

With Trivia Murder Party 3 on the horizon, it's time for me to give our favorite serial killer a new outfit! In the demo, we finally got a... well, I wouldn't say a FACE Reveal. But we get to see his shadow, so we got an outfit/silhouette reveal for [REDACTED]!

From what I can make out, he seems to be wearing a hat and trench coat. As such, I've given my [REDACTED] design a sleek new look! The demo looks promising so far, so I'm hype!

Squire is so funny because Raoul and Kel will be covered head to toe in mud, trying to rebuild an entire house, still making jokes and laughing with their squad

Meanwhile Neal and Alanna need to be sprayed with water to stop them from fighting like cats at the slightest provocation

Listening to the first Alanna book by Tamora Pierce and I actually love how often Alanna/Alan is called "a little guy"

Because SHE IS!! JUST A LIL GUY!!!

EVERYBODY STAY CALM! TMP 3 DEMO HAS DROPPED!!!

I watched the Jackbox devs play the demo live, and it looks great so far! The dolls look amazing in 3D, and I love their little animations.

We even got a... well, not a FACE reveal, but an outfit/silhouette reveal of [REDACTED]! I'll have to update my design!!!
