📚: Alanna The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce ☕️: Iced Lavender Latte -- It's been a while since my last book post because I haven't gone out to read but here it is~ After finishing Robin McKinley's The Blue Sword, I really wanted to reread the Song of the Lioness quartet so I finally got around to starting it.😁 Man, I forgot how much I love the way Pierce writes magic... that and I love Alanna. Hehe When I first read this in elementary school, I adored her (it helped that her name is similar to mine) and now as I reread it, I still love her. Hehe Almost finished reading this in one sitting but I guess I'll finish it up at home and maybe start the next book.😉 The lavender latte was okay btw. It was slightly sweet which was great cuz I like my iced lattes with a little sweetener but the lavender was very subtle. Like so subtle that you get no floral hints from it at all. More grassy than floral. I think it'd be a good one to try if you really can't stand the floral taste of lavender but I would at least like to get a little floral hint which I didn't. I won't order this again but I really liked the cafe so I'll probably return and try a different drink next time.🙂 #bookstagram #bookreading #rereading #alannathefirstadventure #songofthelioness #tamorapierce #coffee #lavenderlatte #latte #icedlatte #icedlavenderlatte #cafeamericano #koreatown #la #laeats #losangeleseats #lafoodie #instafood #thebluesword #robinmckinley #damnistillshipjonandalanna #butitsokay #istilllovegeorgewithher #curseyouroger #cries (at Cafe Americano)
