“After her one night with her husband, Edith became pregnant with twins. After she married Dr. McMichael, she thought they were Alan's. When her children were born though, they haunted her with their appearance that resembled both the Sharpe siblings. Like their mother Edith, they could see ghosts but the interesting thing was that they only saw the Sharpe ghosts and no others.”

After she and Alan marry, they rebuild Allerdale and turn it into an orphanage for troubles teenagers and children. Some of the orphans claim to see the ghosts of Allerdale Hall, including the Sharpe’s”
