old, new, borrowed, blue // alaska & peter
He'd never really experienced many weddings in the past so when Peter found himself in the shower that morning he was trying to think of what was going to happen as he had to do quite a lot in it. Washing the suds from his hair, Peter pulled the nearest towel from the rack and tied it around his waist before using a second to towel dry his hair. Walking out from the bathroom, he picked up a slice of toast and the newspaper from the small trolley the hotel worker had brought in once Peter had woken up, and moved towards the table. Biting into his slice of toast, Peter opened the newspaper and allowed his eyes to skim across the page, not really taking interest in anything particular.
Turning his head to look to the door where he expected Alaska to show any minute, Peter just chuckled to himself and bit into the toast again, finding interest in one of the sporting columns while his mind went elsewhere again, thinking of the wedding. He wasn't used to wearing suits and yet his suit was hanging up ready to be worn, he knew he was going to be out of his element most of the day, he only hoped that Alaska being there would make it easier.
