I have had a lot of ‘#bestdaysever’ but yesterday was seriously #THEBESTdayever!! I was introduced to the awesome fun of running a dog team sled across Alaskan wilderness with the fantastic tour guides, #WhitworthWildernessAdventures. Kevin Whitworth and his wife Dara, are the wonderful people behind this unique and completely cool experience. I knew nothing about snow, skiing, snowboarding ... let alone running a dog team on a sled .... but Kevin gave me an excellent crash course before taking me to meet the completely gorgeous dog team, where I helped harness them up and ... off we went into the wilderness! My favorite moments were when I was alone with the dogs and could hear only the sound of the dogs feet padding through the snow, the sled swishing along .... and the deep, mesmerizing Alaskan silence.... and also when we went fast downhills!!
