THE DOCTOR’S GAZE HARDENED as his jaw clenched. He couldn’t tell Adam the truth of what had happened, of how he was now working for the very man that had brought them to that horrible bathroom that still haunted his dreams whenever he closed his eyes. But he knew, deep down, that he owed Adam an explanation. So, he went with a half-truth.

“You really want to know?” Larry’s tone was DEFENSIVE as he avoided Adam’s gaze. “I passed out. Probably from the blood loss. When I woke up, I was tied to a hospital bed with John Kramer standing over me, telling me I’d passed his test, telling me I’d SURVIVED. He put a prosthetic on me and let me go.” Other than the letting him go part, Lawrence’s story was true. “I begged him to tell me where the bathroom was, but he wouldn’t tell me. THAT’S WHY I couldn’t come back for you, Adam.” And yet, he hadn’t called the police. There were holes in his story, and Lawrence knew it. Hoffman was good at covering stuff up, but Lawrence was all new to this.

🚬 Tommy hadn’t been paying attention to class anyways, so when the folded up note was slid onto the corner of their desk; they immediately grabbed it. Taking a moment to look over it, they barely concealed a snort and had to cover their mouth as a small smile graced their lips. Picking up their pencil, they began to write back on the note before passing it back to Steve.

Eyes alight with mischief. It wasn’t everyday that you reunited with an old friend. His ears waggle as he lurks behind a bit of panel. Haha. How fun. The Birthday Boy had surely gotten lost if he was down this way, that or he really did still lack that self-preservation.  Taking a quick moment to address what instruments were functioning well enough within his chest cavity...prongs, a saw, it’ll do. He slips out from his hiding spot.

OF COURSE it was a lose-lose situation. This was the Jigsaw killer they were talking about, after all. Lawrence still couldn’t believe anyone would ever think he was CAPABLE of causing such trauma. Regardless, he knew he was supposed to kill Adam — and he WOULD — if that’s what it came down to. But there had to be some other option, some other way to get out of here without any more bloodshed.

“Allies,” he repeated, feeling a slight pang of GUILT in his chest as he glanced up at the clock. He still had time. THEY still had time. “There’s gotta be SOMETHING we’re missing. Right?”

okay get ready don't hate me if I pick too many @alatibule :

-the Doctor, each regeneration brings something new to the table so I'd have threads in separate verses with ALL of them just to see how they interact? He could interact with princess Emma and have the ??? moment because she's a Disney character (parallel worlds blah blah) and a !!!!! moment because, you know, her timeline was rewritten and that's how the universe was born ? OR even with modern Emma who has completely lost her way as a vigilante (okay, not entirely, she's not going out there planning to kill, but still) though there I have less excuses why he would interact with her more than once since there is nothing to solve, unless he's lonely and notices she's messed up but kind? I say he but thirteen is included obviously! Can you tell I love the Doctor?

-you write Winn Schott, also known as mah boy, which I'll love forever, and here's the thing, if you don't find her backstory triggering modern Emma with the DC 'alien blood' twist is perfect for pretty much all modern fantasy/sci-fi shows, so yes, Winn, I love him

-literally every single character in your sitcoms paragraph if you want more wackiness with Emma's modern verse, I love ALL OF THEM SO MUCH

(Okay I should say this: if you click on the modern page you get a general bio/backstory that works for the real world with no magic and goes for sitcoms, the Doctor, etc, with Emma also being a spy/undercover or a vigilante because... it's hilarious to add those kind of horrifying situations, they open so many plots! And THEN at the end of the page there are links to very few fandoms who get their adaptations, which includes marvel/dc (turns out she's got powers!) and a few more, so I'm not saying you have to read fifty pages, it's always the same page + a Marvel/DC verse)

-for Marvel, Tony Stark (see, same backstory) is a fave of mine, but also I really like Matt Murdock, I'm just not a big expert because I only watched Daredevil once!

-I'll never say no to both Flynn and Rapunzel oh my god

-if show based I'd be happy to try Joel, Ellie and Sarah, it's STILL in the modern page indicated with like a footnote because in the end all that it changes is that at some point of Emma's life the world ends? I'm just trying to decide how old is she?? maybe 35 which means she never went to classes and still sounds southern but also that her ex targeted her AFTER the world ended, what a guy

          She feels the heat rising to her cheeks EASILY at his compliment. She knows Jack can talk big, but she also knows the other side of him, the one that’s sweet, kind and sensitive. It’s one of her favorite parts about him, actually, and not just because it means she’s going to get compliments.

“Well. I work hard on that, you know?” She offers him a smile, turning to look at him, her expression soft. “So are you though, you know? Just in case you DIDN’T know,”

      It’s SWEET of him to offer, and even though Marley’s gotten better at accepting people’s help, it’s still hard for her to not feel like she’s a bother. It’s been worse in High School, Blaine knows that, but maybe that’s also the reason he’s asking. He’s someone who genuinely cares, too, and Marley appreciates that more than anything.

     “It’s fine. I’m fine,” She huffs, leaning forward to capture the straw of her milkshake, taking a sip. “It’s just…HARDER than I expected, you know? Dance classes are kicking my butt so much more than I thought they would.”

      It’s OVER.

     It’s over and they’re both SAFE and maybe, if JJ keeps telling herself that over and over again her brain will finally catch up. It’s not the first time they’ve gotten caught up in something like this, and if they’re being truthful then it’s part of their job, but she can’t help but feel like a failure sometimes when their lives are put in danger. ( She knows it’s not their fault, and they’re doing good by catching these people, but still. )

     “Hey...hey...we’re okay...” She whispers, arms wrapped around him maybe a little tighter than she intends to, swaying them both back and forth. The rest of the team is there too, with Morgan on top of the guy who’d been holding them captive, and Garcia in his ear, but JJ barely pays ANY attention to that. “Say something, please?”
