‘Tanta Italia’ yesterday evening in the ancient Roman town of Alba Fucens. Verdi's Rigoletto, the exceptional acoustics of the ancient amphitheatre, and even the Galilean satellites of Jupiter watching high in the sky. Art, history and science coming together in a truly magic night. I took a walk around the edge to get the last photograph and to gain a perspective of the amphitheater from a distance. It's impossible to convey how impressive the acoustics were.
