"Eva-isms"
Eva Roux is a girl from central Astrea who, besides having an odd accent, uses a ridiculous amount of obscure idioms. Her father started teaching them to her as a joke, but it never stopped. Here's a list of the ones she's used so far:
I’dve split a copper before I took that lot head on.
If you throw a knife in the air, know that you might catch the blade.
Gotta find some way to keep the rabbits in the pen.
Sorry you didn't get to bundle too many bales.
An album cover for the playlist I've put together for Albata. It's a bit strange to have so much music for a book that's not even written...
Most of the songs I've posted here are on it, and they all are sourced from two or three albums. All instrumental too!
Kin (金) by Clark "Plazmataz" Powell
I commissioned the inestimable Clark Powell to write me a song for Albata, since I love his work. I was not disappointed.
The song arrived untitled, so I decided on Kin - one, because it denotes Piper's connection to Astris, and two, because it means gold in Japanese, which is the color often associated with the goddess.
