Taking Stock - 04.10.16
This isn’t the usual Taking Stock kind of post because I actually have a lot to talk about.
I didn’t do this on the last day of September like I usually do because I actually had a lot of stuff on my mind. I wanted to write about more than what I was thinking and doing and feeling and watching and that sort of thing.
For three straight days, I had a violent bout of mood swings and had to fight to stay above the line of depression. I don’t remember the last time I felt the way I felt these past three days. On top of that, I had a major decision to make.
September was a great month.
I turned 25 and didn’t really mind it. I was determined to be happy, and I worked really hard towards it. For the first time, my birthday rolled around and I wasn’t depressed. Ii felt so happy and so loved and it really was awesome.
There seemed to be some sort of balance in my life for a bit. I even went away for a weekend and was able to relax. Work was fine too. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t all bad either.
And then at the end of the month all these negative emotions came crashing down on me and I couldn’t deal. It’s a lot of stuff that I still feel like I need to talk about, but I don’t really want to talk about it. I’m not sure if you understand....
Still, I’m going into October hoping it’s a lot better. Better things are coming :)
