[CHRONIQUES 2016] TROPICAL HORSES - MIRADOR Il aura fallu plusieurs années à Max-Antoine, alias Tropical Horses, pour accoucher de ce bébé terrible qu’est ‘Mirador’. Plus qu’un simple point d’observation, c’est une véritable visite guidée dans son esprit cultivé et torturé que le jeune homme nous offre. Après avoir batifolé avec les électriques nantais d’Albinos Congo et le sexysensible Princesse -qui a d’ailleurs participé à la production de ‘Mirador’-, notre Max-Antoine national s’est lâché sur ce premier effort. Satanic Prayers, Your Love Is a Devil, Dead Gaze Exorcism, les titres des morceaux ne sont pas de faux espoirs : ce ‘Mirador’ un véritable magma de shoegaze teinté d’électronique d’outre-tombe, brassant au passage le drone et les musiques latines -l’ami Max-Antoine est par ailleurs un fervent connaisseur de musiques du monde-.
