Today I found out that beloved artifiziell's account has been deactivated. I wanted to share some of the art she shared with me that she never posted because I honestly think they're worth sharing with everyone.
Albite and Orthoclase unfinished regenerations. She was unsure of which pick was the best.
A discarded regeneration for Moonstone because the braid would obscure the back eyes.
Moonstone (unfinished) regeneration. She thought that something felt missing and she mentioned how she wasn't sure Mona fans would like her.
Concept art of her gem comic
I don't have her permission to post these, obviously. But since her entire blog is gone now, I wanted to share her art before it's too late. Sorry.
Edit: I DID NOT DRAW THIS. THIS IS ARTIFIZIELL'S ART
Albite concept, they are in charge of protecting valuable items with puzzles and traps. When she poofs, her gemstone creates a temple around it to protect it from getting shattered or cracked.
remember when I said the Generals wouldn't get revived looks? yeah that was stalling until I landed on a design I actually liked lmao. Like I said in my last post, Opal and her Neo Generals hunt down the og ones in the hopes of stealing their powers for her benefit, but with the intervention of the Senshi (with Mio/Earth leading the charge, feeling a kinship with her previous teammates), all they do instead is reawaken their powers, becoming an assistant team of sorts for the Senshi whenever the opportunity arises. You probably see a familiar face as their newest member too! let's get on that, shall we? (a refresher on my Dark Kingdom generals, if needed!)
We start with Hayato/Jadeite, as usual, as the first target - Mamoru and Usagi are the ones to find him attacked by Kalunite, and manage to awaken his latent powers again, being the first to get this new form, calling it his "real" transformation, distinct from the form Metalia granted him. Jadeite is reluctant to help out, but does it out of solidarity with who was his previous liege and to help out his fellow generals.
The next one is Kanami/Azurite, found by Mio and Ami and attacked by Hematite. With Ami's coaxing she recovers her memories and transforms into the same form Jadeite did, her own flair adorning it. Having bonded with Ami and remembering Mio, she joins far more enthusiastically than Jadeite did, which she uses to tease him about it to his chagrin.
After Kanami came Sayaka/Fluorite, found by Makoto alone, attacked by Kalunite. Sayaka remembers Mako during the battle after having struck a quick friendship with her, and reawakens her powers then. Sayaka leads them to Masato/Nephrite, with whom she's still friends with despite the memory wipe, but find him with Naru and Usagi, having been attacked by Hiddenite and left badly hurt.
Masato is helped by Naru, who remembers what happened despite everyone else forgetting, and this makes Usagi finally come clean to her about being Sailor Moon, planning everything in front of her. Naru herself already had her suspicions by this point, but it's nice to have the conversation. Hiddenite comes back to finish the job, but Masato manages to reawaken his power and, helped by the rest, kill Hiddenite off.
Rei and Minako end up being the ones to find Anji/Zoisite and Shinkou/Kunzite, still a couple despite it all, targeted by Hematite. This is a source of conflict for them both, who aren't as on board with reawakening the Generals, Rei because it feels like it means they aren't enough, Minako because the Moon has done its thing and made her distrust them altogether. Lucky for them, Usagi reaches them, and together they manage to fend off Hematite while Anji and Shinkou recover their memories.
The two of them for their part are also unsure of helping out the Senshi, due to not wanting to involve themselves in their affairs, which Minako is happy to agree with but the reawakened Generals manage to convince them to just as Hematite reaches them again. Anji and Shinkou reawaken their powers, and together they kill Hematite.
It's at this point that Opal herself shows up, having reached and kidnapped Naru, using her as a bargaining chip in exchange for them willingly surrendering. Usagi rallies the Senshi to try to save her, while Mio, Mamoru and the Generals then turn to look for Yorine/Albite, the final unawakened General.
As the Senshi fight off Opal, the rest reach Yorine, who is confused at the collection of teenagers and young adults claiming to know her, until Kalunite shows up, attacking them all. This causes Yorine to recover her memories and reawaken, and all 9 together manage to finish off Kalunite.
With all the generals reawakened, they all then rejoin with the Senshi, who managed to rescue Naru but still lost to Opal, and are recuperating as she charges up her final move, sealing off the city of Tokyo and slowly draining the energy of everyone. Naru wakes up, and then Masato reveals something - Naru is one of them, someone with her own powers.
Naru is shocked, as is everyone else, and he explains that that was the source of her being such a common target during the Dark Kingdom attacks - her latent energy was like a magnet attracting them, and her awakening her powers would help them turn the tides of the battle. Naru is unsure, but Usagi and Mio manage to encourage her enough to give it a try, concentrating, feeling the wind around her, feeling a connection with it, transforming at last - donning the name Tourmaline.
With an entire team assembled, they go back to try to defeat Opal, who still manages to mostly wipe the floor with them, but they don't give up. It's then that all the Generals plus Naru combine their power and give it to Mio, which in turn helps her unlock her Super form, and with it, everyone launches a combined attack, with Earth delivering the finishing blow.
with Opal gone, the threat of the Neo Dark Kingdom goes away, with now the Senshi having a full team of people who can assist them when needed.
