Tell us about your dnd character!! What wow'd your party?

So mostly that’s just me being dramatic, but it was my first time ever playing and I was really proud of this character, I was up til three sketching her and writing her backstory lol. So she’s an elf ranger, lawful neutral, and her name’s Raven Greythorne. This is her backstory:

I had this whole thing typed up and then tumblr decided to eat it so we’re gonna cheat a bit here

5. What is your specialty as a fanfic writer? 

is it cheating if i say ‘found family’ b/c that could be my free space on my ‘fic by gav altschmerzes’ bingo card. it could also be Jewish Character Fic, or like. brutally honestly? fic about the consequences of abuse sldkfjs, that one’s up there.

ooo speaking of notebooks i have an author question for you: do you do all your writing digitally, or do you draft ideas or chapters by hand??

i draft almost everything by hand, both outlines and actual chapters! goes for both original stuff and fic, too. i do a lot of scribbling out, rewriting, etc, but that’s my first stage of editing!! when i transcribe from my notebook to google docs, that’s when i start tweaking/fixing things.

here’s what some of my notes/the new chapter i’m working on looks like in my notebook,

as we can see, i forgot which chapter i was drafting in my outline there. i’ve got a color split notebook that i love, so i’ll draft in one color and outline in another, keeps everything nice and parceled out!!

Genji is one of my most played characters but I haven’t been able to be him lately because of me changing to fit team comps better or I get faced with a lot of counters so I wiSH I COULD DEAL WITH THOSE BETTER...

and then Hanzo because I need to learn how to aim with him better/I can’t rely on scatter anymore..... my Rein is also very bad too
