Just wanted to let my fellow Aussies know there is a TV ad running at the moment for the alcoholthinkagain campaign where a young girl very graphically v*'s, it's unexpected and I found it very triggering. The ad starts with a young boy asking his dad if him and his mates could have a beer, so keep an eye out and switch channels when it starts.

The Strong Spirit Strong Future- Promoting Healthy Women and Pregnancies Project in WA started in 2010 and will continue until June this year.

Target audiences include women, men and the general community and have been designed for rural and urban audiences.  The campaign is part of the larger Western Australian Alcohol Think Again Campaign, which aims to reduce alcohol-related harm by changing the drinking culture in WA.

What are your thoughts? Does this ad inspire you to stop drinking while pregnant?
