47. Any advice for novice gif makers/people who want to start making gifs?

mind your gif dimensions! you can check here for more information on that. :)

make your gifs from high quality videos for optimal results. i usually go 1080p for the try guys videos.720p isn’t too bad either, but try not to go lower than that if you can help it.

be mindful of how you crop! feel free to google something like ‘tips for cropping’ because that’s exactly what i did hahaha

always remember to sharpen your gifs!

my favorite adjustment tools are curves, levels, color balance, and selective color. i use a bunch of others too, but it will all really depend on what you’re giffing and what kind of giffing style your going for.

now this is the cheesy bit, but it just takes a lot of practice! so remember to be patient with yourself 💗 💖
