Well, wasn’t this a nice surprise! There was definitely no other suspect other than her son that could have bought them, taking the small box out from the fridge and beaming so happily. It would be cheeky of her to have one right now, being so close to dinner..

Looking around, she innocently pops one of the chocolate pieces into her mouth. What an absolute rebel she was! She almost couldn’t stop the giggles that left her. Quickly placing the box back into the fridge, she scooted away from the ‘scene of the crime.’ An extra special thank you was in order and it’ll be in the form of his favourite meal.

This question was bound to happen, wasn’t it? Wringing her hands together, Holy looks down. She didn’t really have an official answer to give -- even at her most honest, which, Holy tried to be regardless.. she did believe in her husband. She believed in the excuses he gave.

Gently reaching for Jotaro’s hand, she lead him to the couch, the pair of them sitting on it with Holy sighing quietly.

“I.. do think he is very focused on his career at the moment,” she broaches gently. “ -- and that his tours make him very busy to stop and come home. It wouldn’t do him any good to fly to Japan only to be on the flight out the next day to a different country after all..”

But she couldn’t say that he loved them, that he missed them, or even wanted to return. Holy fidgeted with her hands. She wanted to assure Jotaro these things, but why couldn’t she?

Because she knew even she didn’t believe that herself.

“I.. don’t.. well, I...” Holy paused, reaching over to give her son a hug. As if that’d make what she spoke of any easier. “.. I’m sorry. He’s always been attached to his music..”
