2. Why did they join the police?

Gonna have to open up the game for this because I forget ahhhhh.

Vanya wanted to help people and make them feel safe! They have a big heart, man. Now that they know supernaturals exist, it extends to them as well!!

Vivian is happy to help people, but police was their choice because of the structure and defined rules. They like themselves a routine - making sure people are safe is just an added bonus they very much enjoy!

Verrill, surprisingly, had a rebellious youth! People wouldn’t guess that, knowing them, but police force has eased their rebellion. They got the choice of jail time or joining the police, and they decided one option was better than the other. They’ve come to like the job and will work hard for it!

Vega loves themself some science, man. There were no other jobs that allowed them to do science-y stuff in Wayhaven, and they didn’t want to move away, so helping out at the police station seemed natural. They didn’t expect to get this far, but they’re not exactly minding it.

7. Who is their Love Interest and why?

We gettin’ the good shit now!!!!

Vanya’s love interest is Mason! He was the one that bothered them the most, at first. Adam was impossible to work with and an asshole, but at least they could understand it wasn’t exactly out of malice... probably. Mason was an asshole and enjoying riling Vanya, man. But he’s sarcastic and intense and they’ve felt an attraction to them. He’s also pretty hot and they can’t deny that, honestly. They’re generally curious about him, but also entertained? His flirting used to make them roll their eyes but they quickly noticed their heart skip a beat... They just vibe with him. He’s got an energy that reels them in and captures them. Now that they’re not seriously at each other’s throats, their butting heads is fun.

Vivian’s love interest is Adam! They’re an interesting pair because Vivian is more cheery and upbeat, but Adam can still seriously get on their nerves. After every fight, they take a deep breath and try to forgive Adam at least a bit, because they believe in the good of everyone, and they know there’s stuff they don’t know about him. They try to keep an open mind. After finding out Unit Bravo is composed of vampires, it’s much easier for Vivian and Adam to get along! They actually admire his skills, and while he can be a bit... er, rough around the edges, he still takes his job and the safety of other people seriously. They’re also definitely into his seeming awkwardness about romantic things, even if it’s so awkward it’s painful. And, he can be very sweet, if he doesn’t realise what he’s actually doing and bottling it back up.

Verrill’s love interest is Felix, and that can be another surprise for people that don’t know Verrill well enough. He was immediately able to get them to crack, and he was the most fun to be around. He lit up the room just by smiling, and it went right through Verrill’s heart. His jokes, his eagerness, his wanting to help, his smile, his cuteness - everything just made Verrill fall pretty quick. He... feels like home.

Vega’s love interest is Nate. That’s a bit of a no-brainer, in Vega’s point of view - Nate is considerate, sweet, friendly, caring. You talk to him and you immediately feel like you’re someone important and that you’re cared for. The fact that he started paying particular attention to Vega made them just melt. His smile is like an angel’s smile. His voice just sends a shiver down their spine. His touch? Call 911. His gaze? Pins them to the ground. They’ve fallen and they can’t get up.

12. What is their highest (professional) stat and why?

Vanya’s is People/Psychology and By the Book! They just, know people very well and are very empathic. Also, what’s the point of having rules if you don’t follow them?

Vivian’s is Deduction/Knowledge and By the Book. They have fun with anything that stimulates and challenges their brain. Also, they want to do their job well and protect people, and they’ve got to follow the book if they want to do so well, right?

Verrill’s Combat/Physical and Bend the Rules. They tend to prefer using deduction to solve problems, but they pack a mean punch if needed, and they like being able to defend themself and other people. Also, rules ain’t shit sometimes. They can do their job well enough without all that rubbish. Keeping people safe matters more than rules.

Vega’s Science/Technology! They’ve always liked to fiddle with things, and finding out how stuff works. It just came naturally to them. (As for rules... they can see both the uses and the downsides of them. They’ll follow major rules. But they’ll question some other stuff. It’s fine, they’re doing a good job)
