The compositional aspect of this photography is of a self portrait. The main subject is to the left of the photo creating a two piece composition. The the right of the photo we can observe there is a tabs with a soft flower. The subject to the left is of a man in underwear with a dark black dog between his legs. The contrast between the white room and table make it difficult for the audience to view the dog. At first glance, I was unable to accurately describe what the man was holding - until you look closer. This image utilised natural lightings, as there was not flash. We can observe there is lighting coming from the room itself along side the windows in the background. These aspects influence the meaning of the photograph by us fully focusing on the human and his dog. If there contrast between the colours where black and white than that would distract the eyes to everywhere else in the photo other than what we are suppose to be drawn to. As stated before the composition of this illustrate is broken into two parts directly down the middle of the photo. Just based off observation I would conclude that this is of a man and his dog in the kitchen.
