It wasn’t often that another person occupied Percy’s thoughts. There were passing moments, in the rush of everything else, at most. The way Alecto Carrow seemed to be stuck in his mind was foreign. It had been weeks since they’d first, properly, met, and it was like she had vanished. If he didn’t know any better, he might have thought he’d made the whole thing up, a dream from a high.
As Percy stood in his flat, staring at his suit, he decided to seek her out. Whilst all the other students were getting ready for the formal, Percy was itching for something more. Leaving the suit on the bed, he pulled on a pair of jeans and his trusty jacket and headed out.
Fishing a smoke from his pocket the moment the chill hit him, he made his way up to the castle. She was surprisingly easy to find - spotting her just outside the castle doors. “Not going to the dance?”
