"I want you back."
When the words left Alecto’s mouth, Tabitha stopped. Her eyes shut and her head bent down. Why was she saying this? Why did Alecto have to do this to her again? Over the last year Tabitha’s heart broke every time she looked at Alecto, and now the Slytherin was back, trying to do it all over again. She took a deep breath, trying to collect her thoughts as she listened to Alecto’s breathing. She had almost forgot what that steady breathing sounded like.
Memories of the two of them in bed together flooded through Tabitha’s mind. She could smell Alecto’s perfume, could feel her heart beating, could hear her shallow breath. All of it flooded Tabitha, hitting her hard in the heart. It felt like someone was stabbing her and twisting the blade in her gut over and over, just to hear her scream. That feeling pulled her out of her reverie. It felt like when Tabitha realised Alecto was just playing her.
Anger began to course through the Ravenclaw’s veins. She raised her head, her dark hair bouncing as she did so. “Fuck off,” she said, biting at her lip for a moment. “You’re just tryin’ to play with me ‘gain, Carrow, an’ ‘m not lettin’ it happen. You’re just a useless bint an’ I don’t need your kind ‘round me. Why don’t you jus’ sod off, yeah?” Tabitha said angrily, her voice dripping with malice.
For some reason, saying those words empowered Tabitha, but also made her feel bittersweet. After she had found out she was being played, she ran away crying and didn’t even saying anything to the cackling Alecto. But now she finally got to tell her off, and it felt good. “‘M not just gonna sit ‘round and be played by you ‘gain. Go get your knob polished elsewhere, yeah?” Tabitha continued, shaking her head. “‘M done with ya, an’ you’re done with me. Get over it, Carrow. It meant nothin’ in the first place, after all, isn’t tha’ righ’? Wasn’t I jus’ some ruddy experiment for ya? ‘Cause that’s what it felt like. An’ ‘m done feelin’ sorry ‘bout this all the time. So jus’ go away, and don’t talk to me. Don’t even look ‘bout me. Don’t even think ’bout me. Jus’ go.”

It seemed a fantastic idea in her head to lean forward and kiss the Carrow girl who had been speaking heatedly to her just moments before. But, when it came down to it, she didn't know why she had kissed her. She pulled away abruptly. "Sorry. I don't know what's gotten into me."
"Never again."
"Just get out of my sight."
