I.. found something while hunting.. [Alek/caligo/lauren/rose/river?]
"Yuli, do you hear that?"
"Like someone is crying?" His friend nodded, holding a finger to her lips before taking the lead. Their plan had been to get a few souls for either of them. That was always the plan when Yuli went out with Krigar, then they could share with Caligo or whoever else needed them. But this week had been.. lacking.. And someone crying meant they probably wouldn't get anything today either.
While Yuli had been lost in his thoughts, Krigar had moved ahead. "Yuli!" The demon turned a corner to find the human kneeling between two bodies. "That one's dead. This one is fading. She won't make-" The other female grabbed Krigar's shirt, pulling her closer. Yuli could see a green glow from her eyes from where he was standing.
"F-find.. save.. Briar.. Hi-hi-hiding..." Her grasp loosened and Krigar fell back onto the ground.
"She's.. We should find Briar.."
"Who's Briar?" Yuli asked. Krigar shrugged, and Yuli moved to help her stand. As he did, something made a noise farther down the alley.
The human motioned to him, pointing to a dumpster. They approached slowly, seeing a pair of small eyes as they looked around it. A child was hiding there, and his eyes were glowing green just like the dead lady's had.
"A demon?"
Krigar nodded, then knelt to the child's level. "We won't hurt you.." The child drew back even more, trying to meld into the shadows. She stood and shrugged. "I don't.. Infants.."
Yuli knelt this time, making his own eyes glow. The child looked at him. "Briar?.. C'mere.." The boy crept towards him, but glanced at Krigar and whimpered. Yuli crawled forward and the boy ran to him, wrapping his arms around Yuli's neck. He stood and looked to Krigar. "Now what do I do.."
"I guess.. you care for him.. Its what that lady said.. Essentially.."
An hour later and they both returned to the bar where Yuli worked and lived. Krigar left from there. Yuli took the child to his room. He would talk to River about the kid the next day.. or sometime.. But Alek should probably have a heads up of what he would find if he went to the demon's room.
[I.. found something while hunting.. He's about two.. I think.. I'm bad with ages..]
Sometime between the text and the morning, Yuli and Briar fell asleep on the couch. Briar never once let go of the demon.
something idk
This is a follow up to this
((something my mind wouldn't stop thinking about so I could sleep))
Yuli groaned as one of his human captors drug a clawed weapon across his already wounded stomach. At the moment his abdomen and head were various colors, between bleeding and healing wounds, to bruises and burns. The most pronounced injuries were a large bruise on his right eye, several deep lacerations going down and across his chest, breathing hurt. Hell, being conscious hurt, hanging from the chains around his wrists. Him awake is when they did their work. They were trying to get something he didn't have. Something he no longer had. The demon. The one that was the whole reason Yuli was still alive. The one that changed him and left him and pretty much hasn't contacted him since. They wanted his name. Yuli didn't have his name. Eventually they believed him, and started trying to get Yuli's name. The one the demon gave him. With it they would have control of him, whether they wanted him as a pawn, or to take his power. He didn't know, or care, because they weren't getting it. Only one other person knew it that wasn't the demon, and so long as they didn't know about the person, they could beat on Yuli all day. At least he thought that until one ot the humans mentioned his boyfriend, and threatened to have Yuli kill him once they figured out his useful name. Yuli somehow found the will or strength or speed to pull off a bracer and killed that human with his spikes in the guy's chest. And that's why the clawed weapon was currently gutting him. The man stepped away to swap out toys, and another came in whispering something to him. The first sent him away, saying something about gathering others, then turning and glaring at Yuli. "This isn't done. We will deal with these intruders and start up again. Until then, I'll give you something to think on.." He grabbed something from his tray of toys and approached the demon. His hand swung upwards, leaving the dagger between Yuli's ribs as he stepped away again, grinning when Yuli cried out. He didn't stay for long, leaving the room to deal with whoever had managed to break in. And now alone, he thrashed about. Partially to see if he couldn't get the dagger free, and partially to see if he couldn't get himself free. Neither worked, and he cried out in angry as he heard noises of people getting closer. Probably just the humans.. But they wouldn't sound like they were dying if everything was alright.. right? He hung there, waiting forever to find out who was getting close to him. A few more deathly sounds and a head appeared in the door. It seemed familiar to him, but in the lighting it was hard to tell. "Hy found him," called out a female voice with a slight German accent, the owner stepping inside to be followed by two larger bodies. The female moved off to the side quickly and let them pass, and as they approached, he caught a glimpse of familiar red hair. "Christ, Yuli! What was all this for?" Alek asked, worry obvious on his face as he inspected the demon's wounds. Caligo reached up for one of the chains, slipping underneath Yuli's arm when it fell to hold his friend up. "N.. names.. H-his name.. my name.." he answered as Alek did the same process on the other arm. Caligo gave Yuli a funny look. "Names? This is the cult, right? I thought they knew your name.." "Not tha.. M-" Alek, shushed him, catching on to what he meant as Yuli's other arm fell and his weight was split between Alek and Caligo. "Quiet now, Yuli.. Lets get you home.."
Finally, a date. [askalek]
Yuli laid on his boyfriend's bed while the vampire was bathing, having recently gotten rid of the customer he'd been with. As far as Yuli knew, neither of them worked the next night, and their day was pretty much open.
Maybe.. they should go out.
Initially, any thoughts like this would've made Yuli wary. As a human, with the demon inside him, there was no telling if the demon would take control of him and make him kill. Apparently killing in the open was bad, so he hid himself awake from humans, and demons at first.
But now that he was a demon in control of his own body, he should be able to move freely about right? That was the idea anyway, but Yuli didn't trust himself, or his.. master.. maker.. Whatever the demon is to him. But its been weeks, and he'd been able to go mostly without incident. The arm spikes and glowy eyes had been a surprise to his group of friends; after that everyone went with it. He was still Yuli.
Hearing the water from the shower shut off, he sat up a little on the bed. "Hey, Leech?" he called towards the bathroom door.
drabbles for alek and caligo: Unbind me and Lost the key
Oh my~ and Unbind Me for Alek // Leave an “Unbind Me” in my ask, and I’ll write a drabble about your character freeing mine, or the other way around Its a stretch but Alek is freeing Yuli..
Yuli couldn't remember the exact circumstances of how he came to be in Alek's closet.. But then it was hard to remember much when newly found lost memories were pushing their way out after what seemed like ten years. The clothes hanging in the closet felt like arms, reaching, grabbing at him. They'll pull him to their ritual room again, none too gentle, those adults. His mother stood near a simple stone pedestal with knife in hand, watching through uncaring eyes as he screamed to his father to let go.
This lady was different from the one he shared rooms with. This one was almost blank, whereas his mother.. Oh but they looked the same! Was she even his mother then?.. Soon the cold stone was against his back as the cultists crowded in around him. The knife was raised by someone, and on instinct he fought, pushing and pulling his limbs until the knife went into someone. Anyone, he didn't care. So long as it wasn't him..
He remembered speaking to the demon, starting the pact. The memory started to fade, but the feeling of betrayal was still there. His parents tried to kill him, would've succeeded had he not managed to kick the knife into someone else. Weren't parents supposed to love you? Protect you? What was wrong with them, that they tried to kill him? Or was he the problem? What was wrong with him? Even the new groups of cultists didn't want him..
By the time Alek opened the closet door, Mu-din was buried in the body and the child that had been Yuli a hundred years ago had surfaced, curled up in a corner of the closet floor trying his best not to make a noise. The familiar voice calling his name alerted him that the door was open, and he scrambled out of the small room. Alek grabbed his arm as he tried to pass the vampire and pulled him to a standing position.
"Yuli? What's wrong?" Alek saw the panic on Yuli's face, and the slight confusion, as for the moment, part of Yuli didn't recognize the vampire.
"Please don't put me back in the closet, I'll do anything!" Lost the key for Caligo. // Lost the key: My character is stuck somewhere with yours
Their shoulders bumped several times where they were, eliciting mumbled curses from the demon next to him. Yuli rolled his eyes at this and set his eyes on the small glass window through which the world passed. They should've thought this through, seriously thought about it. And now they were both regretting the choice they made. He sighed, glancing at Caligo next to him, who was still smashed up shoulder to shoulder with him despite Caligo's attempts to lean away from him.
"Next time, Yuli, you sit in front and Lauren sits back here. At least then I'll get to look at something pretty.."
