I wanted to post the ship statistics of RV1999 Lofter (CN Tumblr) a month ago but given how insane Aleph x Recoleta shipdom grows when given a couple days, let alone less than 5 months, the information will already be outdated.

The best I can do while waiting for the most recent update is to explain how Eastern fandom shipping culture works in my future posts.

It was determined by tallying all their ship tags which looks like this:

Recoleph is simultaneously the most popular het pairing and one of the most popular pairings in Reverse 1999. Almost anybody who draws Aleph and/or Recoleta ships them and they are steadily growing in AO3.

It is the Top 5 pairing in Lofter, beating even long established ships, and even the people I've met irl and from different fandoms found out about the game because of this ship.

It's clear to me that Recoleph was a massive cultural reset when it comes to the fandom.
