Because today is @alerialblu‘s birthday, I wrote a special scene in Potentiality. I had to write it late last night because I’ve sent her the story already, so this is a brand new scene mwahahahahaha.

Now without further ado...
Kagome hummed in agreement. “What are you doing here, then?”
With a flourish, he gestured towards the book on the table. “Getting my hands on this.”
“Il Principe?” Kagome leaned in to get a better look. “Machiavelli, really?”
“He got his best ideas from me.” Inuyasha smirked, rather proud. Kagome gave him a look that was far too long-suffering, which was highly undeserved. “What?”
“Don’t take credit from the humans,” Kagome commented lightly. “It’s one thing to do that in your memos to Head Office and another entirely to lie to my face.”
“I don’t lie to you,” Inuyasha retorted, feeling his face curl up in a grimace.
“Uh-huh.”
“I thought you trusted me.”
Kagome looked up towards the ceiling. “Knew that would come back to bite me.”
“Ouch, angel,” Inuyasha grumbled. “And they say I’m the mean one.”
“You are.”
“Am not.”
“Inuyasha.”
“Kagome.”
The two of them stared at each other. Inuyasha tapped the cover of the book in annoyance and waited the angel out. It was only a matter of time, with her. She was always so curious. Younger angels seemed to be that way, he mused, but a part of him strongly believed that only Kagome was truly like this. It was a yearning for intelligence that Inuyasha admired but would never admit, not even for fear of pain and death.
“You’re the worst,” she breathed out finally. “Fine. What did you do?”
Inuyasha smirked and opened up the book. “Well, he got some shit wrong. He was writing crap notes at the time so it’s really his fault. But there were some things he wrote that were based on me. I’m a star.”
“I’m sure,” the angel mused. She waited while he flipped though the chapters, finally pausing to point at a specific quote. Kagome read it out loud. “‘Men are so simple, and so subject to present necessities, that he who seeks to deceive will always find someone who will allow himself to be deceived.’” Her lips immediately pursed, dark brown eyes lifting.
Inuyasha felt a warm curl twist within his chest at that gaze, doing its best to crawl up his throat and plummet down his stomach. “It’s true.”
“I’m well aware,” Kagome said, exasperated.
“Do you remember back in… Fuck, was it still Mesopotamia?” Inuyasha shrugged. “Whatever. A long ass time ago. I said something to you.”
“You said a lot of things to me,” the angel replied. “You made me visit you in exchange for feeding the cats.”
“For a whole year when you only said for a couple of weeks!” Kagome smiled and Inuyasha felt his resolve melting away. “Yeah, fine, whatever. Well I told you why, right? It was better to keep my friends close and my enemies closer. You being the enemy at the time.”
“We’re still enemies,” Kagome pointed out.
Inuyasha shot her a look and the angel tapped at his wine glass to fill it back up for him. Apology wine. He’d take it. “Well, I told Machiavelli it. He loved it.”
“Is it in the book?”
Inuyasha glared down at the pages as he flipped to a later chapter. “It’s one of the ones he fucked up on.”
“How dare he.”
“I know.”
“The horror.”
“Mocking me can’t be angelic,” Inuyasha pointed out, barely holding on to his firm expression when Kagome was smiling at him so easily.
Hello! I hope I'm in time for the questions? 😅 I really loved (and still love!) 'Dog Tags' I read it in two days! 👌👌💕💕 I really love how Inuyasha talks and the endearings he uses for Kagome, my question is where did you get the inspiration? Or who did you base that way of talk? I don't live in USA so my only references are movies. When I was reading your story and Inuyasha started using the pet names it reminded me of 'Eat, pray, love' the Brazilian guy who the protagonist ends up with.
So, Saucy will swear up and down that it’s her guy....but....
Seeing as I’ve never met her guy, it’s 100% my husband, LMAO. I didn’t realize until halfway through that I was literally writing parts of us into this story. The thing with the seal really happened the elevator sex after that did not really happen. My husband has literally asked me to take Vday off before so we could spend the whole day together, breakfast in bed...go on a hike...he’d make dinner for me after...bubble bath....Sends my flowers at work randomly just because.
So...yes.

The family could not stay away of this very secret, very real relatioship Jason was hiding from them... Well not hidding per say, it was just that Jay was always so cryptic, and all his siblings just wanted to have the upper hand here.
It was Jason Todd having a GIRLFRIEND and they wanted the name and posibble a face too. Ok, they wanted proof! and have some fun while doing it was Steph idea. Of course the first try had him and kori in a civil discussion (Dami and Tim... not so much, ups =P), the second try ... oh boy, the second try gave Steph some nightmares, Cass was going with holy water and a stick everywhere... not the best time but hey, here they were all of them. In Paris.
Having Bruce black card was a nice idea, putting a tracker in Jason cellphone was a fine job by Cass and Tim, the rest was easy.
The shot was so perfect, kori would have to agree here. But while looking to the result Dick didn’t have the heart to share it. It was a private moment of the two of them and Jason looked tranquil AND OH NO RAVEN F* NO, IT WAS RAVEN...
Dick lost:
