Amber Alert
Okay, so today (April 25th, 2019) there was an Amber Alert in Ontario, Canada. I am personally terrified of the alarm that goes off. The first time I remember hearing it was about a year ago. I was in my loft bed in my bedroom listening to my radio when it went off. I pretty much leaped out of my loft bed and curled up on the ground and started crying my eyes out.
Now, just to clarify, this alarm takes over radios and TV stations and now I’m pretty sure it will even take over your phone and blare the alarm.

It is 100% the most terrifying sound known to man.
Whenever is suddenly starts up on whatever is on (I don’t have a phone, and for once I am thankful of that) I’m just struck by terror. I completely break down and I hate it so much. I have no reason to be scared of it but I am. I’m not necessary scared of the event, it’s just the alarm.
Is there anyone else that feels the same about the Amber Alert alarm? Is there a name for a phobia specifically for being scared of it? Anybody have any ideas as to why I’m afraid of it?
