We are sharing halva to commemorate Armenian Genocide victims on 24th of April!
Armenians, Turks and other peoples of Anatolia have been sharing halva to commemorate their loved ones for centuries. We are happy to do the same in New York City to commemorate our fellow Anatolians who lost their lives in Armenian Genocide.
We want to share halva amongst New Yorkers to show that there are Armenians, Kurds and Turks all around the world who commemorates their losses all together in an Anatolian way. Another goal of ours in this event is to bring all Anatolian diasporas together to alleviate at least a little bit of the pain, suffering, uprooting, humiliation and denial millions of Armenians have suffered from.
Why don’t you join us and invite your friends? The more, the merrier. Looking forward to see you at Columbus Circle on 24th of April!
