Aventurine’s movements aren’t hindered by the agony that should have been debilitating, that irreproachable nonchalance might deter others from interfering but the doctor’s piercing gaze remains undaunted. Whether it were a strength or not the attempt to conceal the vestiges of pain emanating from the injury is futile, a detriment to himself and by extension the partner he should have kept in his periphery.
