Hello again! In case you were wondering, my My Little Iron Pony Lung fic is still chugging along. I prefer to write a complete story then post it all at once instead of chapter by chapter. I'm pleased to announce Discord is present and plot relevant in the story. :D

yeah! it's fanon, but that would be lyra heartstrings <3 i think she'd have some books on human lit, and be like those cryptid enthusiasts. so when she sees a real live HUMAN in town she can't believe her freaking eyes.

she watches him, cross-references her human books, and determines that this is most likely a human or at least a close relative-- humans typically had two arms, but ponies typically had four legs and that didn't mean that there were outliers. They also didn't have teeth on the side of their face but maybe that was mistaken for facial hair?? who knows! these books are SO old. Time to write her own.

Was wondering if there is any lil fun facts you could share about it? Especially since "good" old Ava is now around.

Ava has a massive sweet tooth. She loves cupcakes and cookies and all that. Usually likes more... idk how to put it- subtle flavours? Like rich mousse or dark chocolate... she fucking loves it so much. also fruit. she loves fruit. she'll sneak onto apple acres and snatch a couple.

Simon likes spicy food. He has a horribly low tolerance at first, but works it up through the pain. He tries a dragon-land spice food once............. hopital :(

Since Ava comes from the collectivist COI, she grasps how pony society works a lot quicker than Simon does. Still, though, COI's collectivism focuses on progress for future generations rather than helping those who are currently living-- using those people as mere stepping stones, so it's still... really fucking different.

A lot of Simon's wounds can be magically healed. Yay! Not everything, though. All the attempts to regrow his arm... went fucking horribly and he'd rather have no arm at this point. He's fine.

Simon really likes the little animals. He reallllllyyyyyy REALLY likes caring for the little guys and seeing them better because of him. being delicate, and making something feel better instead of worse... it just feels right. He bonds most with Fluttershy and Starlight Glimmer.

Simon is scared of heights. idk why. just feels right. Can only find this out when not in space haha the stations were never tall enough to worry about hitting the ground.

OK more serious/in depth stuff:

There's a minor royal crisis wherein Luna's too tired to do fucking ANYTHING after handling Simon's nightmares. She hardly has time for the other nightmares. she tries to keep telling him hey this isn't real and you are SAFE in ponyville, but he has a hard time believing it... especially because everyone here is... perfect and he's heard what happens to those who aren't. they're turned to stone, or banished to the moon, or something. He's a fucking murderer. That shit leaks into his nightmares, too, being trapped on a fucking moon AGAIN. Eventually though it's all worked out, he sees that 'bad guys' are treated with kindness first, and only treated as truly irredeemable and turned to stone if they legit cause world-ending havoc. The mane six are a very forgiving group. He's fine. And Celestia... Celestia would never do that shit again. This takes a LONG WHILE but eventually the nightmares stop <3 episode momentttt

Ava wants to be able to bring the rest of her crew here, too. It's not fair that only she gets this paradise. She and the fucking convict. Humanity needs these resources. This planet. They need it. She just can't... go home to tell them about it. She wants Jack here, too, instead of dying from radiation poisoning in space. David, too. Everyone. But, no. Just her. She's got crazy survivor's guilt.

Ava bonds the most with Twilight. She enjoys debating her (which at first was genuine arguments but as they've grown together it becomes better) and working together to figure stuff out scientifically, and magically. Ava initially started it to try and figure out a way to get all this amazing stuff back to the COI… to humanity. Not sure yet if she'll succeed. Probably not! And if she does, it won't be for a long long while. honestly the 'sometimes arguing with your friends is fun' shit could be an episode. I think Ava may say something that goes too far one time and that's when the friendship gets strongerrr
