Time for Some Free Divination via Shufflemancy

In honor of finally rebuilding one of my classic playlists, now titled “Fur and Stone and Tree,” named after the Land portion of the Three Realms, as well as in honor of finally being able to play said playlist fairly easily now that I finally have an Alexa device (Echo Dot), I’m going to open up the free version of my shufflemancy divination services for a little bit. I’ll let you know when said services aren’t available again. 

So hit me up in the ask box if you’d like me to shuffle some music to divine for you. 

(Please keep in mind that my playlist is fairly narrow in it’s range of songs at the moment as I buy and download the digital version of my music, not believing in streaming services at all. So for the moment Fur and Stone and Tree only has about two-hundred-twenty or something songs at the moment to work with. I’ll keep adding to and updating to this playlist when I am able to)

So, if any of you have an Alexa/Echo speaker, here's a fun but simple life hack.

Say "<wakeword>, put beef on my beef list.".

Since nobody has need for such a narrow list, you need to say "yes" when asked if you want to create a list called "beef".

Repeat step 1 to ensure that beef was added to your beef list.

Repeat step 1 when bored. Your device should say "You already have beef on your beef."

BOUNS* TIEM!!

Make new useless lists by just replacing "beef" with another word

Have your device read off what's on these pointless lists. For best results, use the app to edit at least one list to have 6 of the same item, since the device reads the list five things at a time.

Laugh. This is a fun thing, not a practical thing. If you aren't laughing, you aren't having fun, and if you aren't having fun, that's no good!*

So we got an Alexa for Christmas as well as smart plugs and light bulbs that connect to her and our Google Home devices. I swear Alexa hates me. I will try asking her to turn on the lamp or turn on plug1, she will ignore me. I deepen my voice to sound like a dude and she friggen listens😂 please tell me I'm not the only one she doesn't listen to.
