SOME THINGS ABOUT ALEXANDER:
Alexander Gilbert, the eldest child born to a cardiovascular specialist, and an environmentalist lawyer, he was what was supposed to be their prodigy child, or at least one of four. His entire life was planned out before he was even conceived, they had a plan for their children, but Alex wasn’t that child, he barely scraped by at school, or at least in the subjects that matters to his parents, they expected
Alex enjoyed the arts, he has a passion for performing, whether it was singing, dancer, or acting, and he was the sort of child who forced his parents to sit down, so he could put on a show, and he revelled in the attention.
soon enough college came, and despite what his parents had hoped, Alex applied to colleges that specifically focused in the arts, which to an extent, affect his relationship with his parents.
when it came to graduation, Alex stayed in New York, moving into a two bed apartment with several other aspiring actors. He worked odd jobs, while attending casting calls, but after 8 years in New York, and failing to land a starring role, and on the cusp of turning 30, he returned home to Lima.
After returning to Lima, and spending most grieving for a career that never set off, and from the advice of his mother, he applied for his PGCE, because after all “those who can, do. those who can’t teach”
Once, he’d completely his two year placement course, he became a qualified Drama teacher.
