Why is everything getting so complicated in season 3 of Outlander???Just one thing on top of the other, this is too much.

But I do appreciate every time something violent happens bc at least Claire gets the chance to show off her new honed medical skills.

I lay back against the balled up horse blanket, the warmth of the summer hung in the air as the stars twinkled brightly over head. “What are you thinking?” Jamie asked as he collapsed into the grass next to me after tending to the horses. I glanced over at him, rolling onto my side, leaning towards him and placing a kiss to the side of his mouth. “Of that,” I answered, letting myself fall back against the makeshift pillow. There was silence for a while, but I could feel his eyes on me, raking over me, as if trying to make up his mind. And I guess he did. The back of his hand brushed ever so gently done my side, over my hip, along my thigh, then his fingers began to pull at my skirts.

I swallowed thickly and gazed over at him, watching his eyes sparkle in the light of the moon as he kept his eyes on my leg and the slow reveal of skin. His hand was rough with callouses as it smoothed over my thigh and under the material gathered around my pelvis, moving through pubic hair and gently resting over my core. His eyes met mine then, noticing the flush that had risen up my neck and into my cheeks, my breath speeding up, my heart hammering in my chest.

Jamie hummed as he pushed a finger inside me, curling it experimentally to watch my mouth drop open and eyes close. “You’re so wet,” he mused, kissing at the corner of my mouth and biting gently at my lower lip. I moaned as a second finger slipped inside me, stretching, filling. He curled his fingers again, once in tandem then at different times, one after the other. My walls clenched in anticipation and my lip popped free from between his teeth as he grinned.

“So eager,” his R rolled, making me shiver. “Jamie,” I panted, “Want you,” I tried to roll towards him, reaching for his hand. His fingers withdrew from me and grabbed at my hand pinning it above my head, the grass itching at my skin. “I want to watch ye,” he said, dark blue eyes boring into mine, waiting for me to give in. Jamie lowered his mouth to mine, capturing my lips in a searing kiss, taking the breath from my lungs. His grip around my wrist loosened and I held his hand, moving it back down my body, between my legs. His fingers under mine as I guided him into me, thumb towards my bud. Jamie pulled back, slightly out of breath, and watched me while he plunged two fingers inside my warmth, rubbing circles around my bundle of nerves. I gasped, eyes closing and back arching, my toes curled in their boots, as I opened my legs wider for him. “Tha’s it,” He cooed, lowering his mouth to the plump rise of my breast, near where my nipple was concealed by the top of my dress. His mouth and tongue left a trail as he moved over my breast, the air cool against the spot he left.

He built up speed, in and out, fingertips dragging against my walls, adding to the build up inside me. It was like the night air had turned cold against my hot skin, dancing across me to leave trails of goosebumps. I held his hand inside me as I felt the world crumble, stilling him as my legs snapped closed, my other hand digging into the dirt beneath me. “Bòidheach,” I heard him murmur in the distance. Once my eyes blinked open and I began to breathe again, he sealed my lips in a kiss, a kiss that would last a lifetime.
