Hmm, maybe I should give the show another chance. I didn't like the first episode much either and didn't continue after that. I'm guessing it's worth the watch?

The show is silly, there’s no denying that. Its science is the same type of faux science that we saw on Fringe and similar - you can either nitpick it or just roll with it. But exactly because of the show’s silly nature, the emotional moments become truly emotional. And the depth of the friendship between Jack & Mac makes everything worthwhile. 

This is the reason why I watch the show...

... Mac and Jack. And Lucas and George. You can literally feel how much they enjoy working on this show and together. 

Well, and then because of this, of course...

I mean, who doesn’t like a good psychopath of a recurring character, right?

I honestly hope Sterek never becomes canon. Not because I don’t think they’re perfect for each other (because they are) but because I’m 100% sure the writers will run the ship right into the ground like they have every other canon ship. Canon status is like a death sentence on this show lol.

That is true, but seeing as it’s the last season they could actually pull it off in the finale, they’re just not going to. (And bless, I don’t want them to pat themselves on the back for “making sterek” like I know they would. Sterek is ours, they can have their mediocre ships).

Sterek grocery shopping!

I can’t exactly remember what ask this was, so I’m just going to go ahead and so my headcanon for it.

This gives me all the feels for some reason. All I can think is single parent!stiles trying to wrangle his three kids and he’s fighting a cold and really just wants to get home but his two oldest are making a mess of the store and he can barely gather the energy to care. And his youngest is in the cart and is seconds away from having a meltdown, which, I mean, Stiles is pretty tempted to join in with the little guy.

He’s trying to find his list that he SWEARS he just had, and maybe he should’ve come some other time without the kids. But he doesn’t really ever GET that time alone unless his dad takes them because child care is freaking expensive, okay? But lately, whenever he drops the kids off at his dad’s he’s too tired to do anything but sleep. And what has his life become?

When suddenly, he realizes the store has gone quiet. And Stiles is whipping his head around in absolute panic because he can’t see his kids anymore. He’s trying desperately to keep his head and calmly figure out where they are because being were!cubs, while they might not understand his emotions, they always pick up on it and panic along with him. 

He rounds the corner and almost runs this dude over who’s…what the hell IS he doing with his kids? He about starts yelling, at the guy or the kids he doesn’t know. But then he realizes…they’re calm. Which doesn’t ever happen really. The hell?

And when the guy turns around, he can’t help the blip to his heartbeat cuz holy fuck is he gorgeous. And he’s somehow mesmerized his kids to stand still for five seconds and even the littlest dude is silent in his seat, not even squirming to get out and Stiles is totally dumbfounded until the guy’s eyes flash red.

(hope you liked this. it kind of got away from me and I don’t even like it, but it’s there. yay!)
