Alexandra is a very deliberate G(a)linda; she's talked openly about seeing Wicked as a kid and always wanting to be a Glinda and like. it shows! she's (perhaps over)thought about this for years! the way she does air quotes for "your 'clothing'" in WITF is another early signpost, but I find the way she plays this moment utterly charming

the turning around like a dog chasing its tail is adorable, but it's the thought that gets me more. she's casting about the whole room trying to find the Perfect Thing, and she'll know it when she sees it but whatever it is Elphaba DESERVES it so she's got to-- oh! and it was on her all along!

and then--

(and this is not cheating it just would have been an absurdly long gif otherwise ok THIS ALL COUNTS AS ONE MOMENT)

--then she invites Elphaba onto the bed only to CLIMB ON WITH HER (?!) (genuinely quite rare most Glindas stay standing for this) and do this showmanlike Vanna White thing with the flower like "see? it's just this, it won't hurt you, it's not a prank"

of course then MK does her dog in a sweater routine and gets the laugh, but like. it's VERY tender honestly

I SAW IT ON HER INSTAGRAM!!!!

OMG, what a dream come true! I knew it was coming soon, because Lencia had been on for several months now (and Elphabas and Glindas usually don't run for that long), but a part of me was scared they would choose someone else (I know the SB isn't always the first option for replacement), but sweet Oz, I'm so happy (also because I might go to NYC in December, so she might be my Elphaba).

Currently selling my soul for a bootleg with her and Jordan Litz (and please, if anyone already has a clip or audio of their ALAYM, please send it to me. I know it's gonna change my life).

If they brought Brittney Johnson or Alexandra Socha as Glinda (or brought in someone new who's on their level) that would be the best ensemble ever (even better as a whole than OBC). I don't know when Jordan is leaving, I have started to avoid his Instagram because I'm scared I'm going to see the news that he's leaving any day, but I hope it's not before someone shoots a high quality boot with them.
