Happy Valentoine’s Day from the Cadre~
Alexois & Chou
“ There are few who'd deny, at what I do I am the best For my talents are renowned far and wide When it comes to surprises in the moonlit night I excel without ever even trying With the slightest little effort of my ghostlike charms I have seen grown men give out a shriek With the wave of my hand, and a well-placed moan I have swept the very bravest off their feet. “
Alexois Fierlaine, sharlayan astrologian and epicurean.
“Slacking off? I’m simply living my life to it’s full extent, unlike someone else I know. I certainly have no intention to die without having experienced everything this realm has to offer.”
Meet Alexois Fierlaine, my sharlayan elezen. He likes drinking, women and can be a little difficult to deal with if you’re not pleasing to his eyes. Time to write a wiki page for him too it seems!
❥ - a childhood memory
Meya narrowed her golden eyes and glared up at the smirking Elezen boy in front of her. Behind him, his assorted cronies snickered, and she could barely make them out as anything other than a blur as the long time bully twirled her glasses around his finger.
“Beg, little cat, and I might give you your glasses back.” Alexois said with an air of superiority, “Just like every time before.” This prompted more snickering from his lackeys.
Meya clenched her small hands into fists as her ears flatted against the blue hair. Her tail thrashed wildly behind her.
“Ooh, look out!” A Hyur boy called out, “Little cat’s gettin’ fiesty!” More laughing.
Alexois scoffed and stepped closer. Even though they were both young still, he towered over the small Miqo’te.
“Beg,” Her demanded, “Or I break them.”
“...No.” Meya hissed between clenched teeth.
“What was that? Some pathetic mewling?” Alexois sighed dramatically, “Very well, you’ve forced my hand.” The Elezen put on an expression of feigned regret as he gripped both lenses and began to twist.
“I SAID NO!” Meya shrieked, her usually quiet voice startling the boys in front of her.
Meya lunge forward and grabbed Alexois’ tunic in her hands. He was barely able to react as she planted left foot firmly in the dirt and brought her right knee upwards. Contact was made and the Elezen boy’s eyes went wide as a pained gasp forced the air from his lung. His grip on Meya’s glasses slackened and they fell to the ground.
Meya let go of him and stepped back as he slumped to the ground and curled into a fetal position. He whimpered softly as he clutched his wounded pride as Meya snatched her glasses from the ground. They were only bent a little bit, something her adoptive father could easily fix.
Meya looked down at the humbled Alexois. She wanted to do more, she wanted to kick, punch, bite, make him hurt like he made her hurt. But something stopped her, a little spark of a feeling, that made her push back those urges. Instead, she left the bully behind her and headed home.
