i'm getting all of these project hail mary (tumblr) posts on my (pinterest) feed. it started with one but they're all top tier and what i'm trying to say is, i'm falling a little in love with the character of Grace. i'm falling a little in love with the concept and the book and i've never even watched the move preview. my sister said "it was a good movie and you need to see it." i am the asshole but that isn't enough information for me. but now after a handful of posts, i want to get my hands on a copy of this book that will last me a lifetime.

what i'm trying to say is i'm getting to know this story and it's making a desire in me to read this book and watch this movie and appreciate every part of it and the nuance of the characters and concepts.

golly, what i'm trying to say is that if i don't fall in love with a story through the audience first, i wont pick it up probably. so thank you all for loving it first.

it used to be that autistics were compared to speaking or writing like a robot, or like they were sending a company email.

now it's that we're "writing like AI." girl, if AI could wish, AI would wish it could be me, it could speak like me.

i've been watching some female and some uterus-having gamers streams lately and today one of them mentioned their period out loud on a stream. and honestly, thank you for the positivity. periods and menstrual cycles are a fact of life for many of us without altering our bodies or our hormones and even so. thank you for just not putting it one way or the other. thank you.

my lunch breaks are my most introspective alone times, my most emotional times of day where i have to process everything alone

i work five days a week and sometimes there are coworkers here but at least three of those days i'm spending time completely by myself. everyone in my personal life is busy. i have no other tasks but to eat my lunch.

the world stops on my lunch break.

so for st. patrick’s day we adopted lucky for the store I work at. since st. patrick’s day he has been taped up in the back room awaiting the day we will one day release him again.
