Following his fight with Hilda, if it could even be called that, Alfonse surveys his surroundings to determine his next course of action. Each house's numbers have thinned considerably, with the most still standing under the Golden Deer's banner; it would make sense to focus on reducing them further, and with that in mind cerulean hues fall upon a different head of pink hair this time. "I hope you won't begrudge me for any harm I cause, Mitama," he calls out, swiftly closing the distance to strike with the flat of his sword. [Roll: 11; predicted dmg -1.5 HP (+Atk -Luck). Status: 4 HP]
Her previous fight had been so brief, Mitama was almost ready to joke that she had grown bored on the battlefield. Almost. The amount of deer she saw on the field thinned, and a nagging voice in the back of her brain would not cease reminding her that she had yet to see her house leader after she saw him and that blue prince brawling a while earlier.
(A thought that irritated her to no end as she had made it quite clear to herself following her war that she had enough friends to worry about and she did not need anymore and she should not be worried about Claude of all people and-)
And her thoughts are enough that she misses the swordsman’s approach until he is calling out to her.
Mitama takes 1.5 + 0.5 damage (Armor Bane). Current HP: 2/4.
Blunt or not, a sword is still a sword and Mitama winces as the strike lands crashing against her. She stumbles back, landing on her butt against the ground and frowning as her hand flies to her arm. Painful. She could not be given the decency of one single non-melee combatant?
“No apologies / for doing what is needed / buy maybe gentle?” She huffs out a laugh and shakes her head. “I will not begrudge you, but Siegbert may...”
Speaking of which, though it came riddled with alcohol, Mitama had memories of the night they all sat around the campfire trading stories and secrets. Hands lighting up with magic once more, Mitama smirked. “Though I am curious. Will you humor me a moment?”
Mitama rolls a 15. Luck boon! Potential damage: 2.
“Never have I ever dodged the question regarding my status.” The question is punctuated with a burst of magic, thrown towards the other.
