to get manipulatives at the last minute from my university just because you want to use the same lesson that the student teachers used last semester.  We can use applets on laptops, SMARTBoard tiles, or make our own.  I won't feel stressed because you didn't plan.

Algebra tile manipulatives allow students to better understand algebraic thinking and algebra concepts. Using algebra tiles provide concrete models for students when learning to add, subtract, and multiply integers. Use for modeling and simplifying algebraic expressions, distributive property, solving linear equations, and multiplying polynomials and binomials. Each student set includes 32, two-color plastic pieces which represent +/-. The 32 piece set consists of 4 x² variables, 8 xy variables, and 20 y constants.
