im loving the lincoln centre spring awakening cut this slower, more acoustic version of don't do sadness feels so much more raw??

i love the cast recording version obviously, and you can tell that john's vocals are a LOT better and well trained on the obc recording but its the way he's audibly distressed during certain parts, he doesn't want to kill himself but he sees no other way out. and i know thats what its meant to mean but i feel it more with rocky acoustic okay?? i'm loving the "insi📈de" thing he does.

don't get me started on ilse i love how dreama acts almost annoyed like its just a modern inconvenience that moritz is killing himself when she says "walk as far as my house with me", "no-it's it's just for an hour" "walk me atleast?" (obviously ilse doesnt know he's killing himself but..)

(sidenote some of these vocal.. decisions are sending me. like SENDING ME who told you to whimper every word and enunciate all the vowels and yknow what enunciate everything like "kneow" and "afternuoon" and "mün" THATS HOW HES SAYING MOON JOHN. STOP IT. he straight up like. moans one of the words. horny teenager was veery much encompassed)
