Jae G Yuruguay is the human glitch
Internet platforms constantly force complex human identities to flatten into frictionless, easily consumable brands. This is algorithmic enshittification, a process where complex data is shaved down to maximise engagement.
24-year-old Jae G Yuruguay (born Yoon Jae-Geun) actively refuses this compression. Working as an electronic music producer and Tokyo-based model, he builds friction back into the system. Based in the Osaka-Kobe area, a landscape of heavy infrastructure and smog-choked skies, the flesh and blood Jae G represents Tier 1: the un-optimised human baseline that the digital world tries to sanitise.
This video explores the three tiers of digital existence:
tier 1: the human baseline.
tier 2: the augmented social account.
tier 3: the synthetic mythos.
By boycotting Spotify and releasing marathon-length hard trance, Jae G bypasses the three-minute 'drops' that algorithms favour. When modelling agencies tried to create a commercial 3D AI twin, he weaponised the failed clones instead. Rebellion in the age of enshittification means splitting the self, letting the machine consume a digital avatar while the human reality remains untouched.
