I’m in love with my florist...
Does every bride swoon over her florist? Probably, but that won’t stop me. Philly brides, event planners, hosts, guests, lovers, apologizers, and sympathizers -- allow me to direct your attention to the graceful talents of Petit Jardin en Ville in Old City.
I used and ADORED Petit Jardin en Ville in Old City for flowers. With a Parisian eye for simple elegance, the store owner Claudia Roux (with her French husband Vincent) helped me design an on-budget (~$2000) winter wonderland for our January wedding. Picture lush white tea roses, modern anemone, and papery blush ranunculus arranged with maroon privet berry, ivy, and winter greenery. I DIE!
Gold satin ribbon festooned the ceremony chairs, and gold bud vases adorned the high top cocktail tables alongside mercury glass votives. A stunning, 3-foot ceramic vase welcomed our guests, while two 4-foot twinkle-lit greenery arrangements mimicked trees and playfully framed the ceremony speakers. STOP I CAN’T TAKE IT!
Claudia was easy to work with, flexible, and creative; I can’t wait to collaborate with her again for future floral needs, and so should you!
Stay tuned for pictures from the event itself!
