My final model for the year finished and based!

Honestly a little more proud of the base than the model but I hadn't had such a clear vision for one till now.

It came togeather great but the greenery and built up area puts it in a weird spot compared to the army, which is fine because I kinda wanted it to be it's own thing/faction leader in the army.

A little bummed out I didn't complete my goal of having all my larger models based by Christmas but I'm never usually all that able to do much given the season. So I'm kinda surprised I did as much as I have.

Crawling in it

I have finally fully finished another model this year which makes 2!!!!🎉🎉🥳🥳

Jokes aside I'm finding it less of a struggle to get back into modelling and painting so that's pretty hype

So I started this venomcrawler about a year ago and it was one of the last things I was doing before I stopped for a while. Edging it was painful back then and took around 4 hours to get just the base colours done.

As for the base it was super fun, I finally experimented Vallejo for a snow texture. I used real rocks too! So it feels nice and weighty.

So yeah feeling productive and back in the swing of things, my goal is to try and finish and base my hellbrute, forgefiend & obliterateors by Christmas!

Getting back into painting

I kinda suck now

Having to re-learn alot sucks but I'm finally enjoying painting again

Girl up top is my Canoness who leads my crusade force. She killed three necron charecters in her first game which was pretty sick so now she has two halbeards

Girl below is a generic Infernus marine that I just had to give battle honours to and spruce up because she took down the knight bringer in melee with a close combat weapon

I have been doing these in the background but recently I've had the energy to finish the last three

Sooooo I'm probably getting back into hosting propper

I have so many ideas half baked in my pile of shame that are calling to me

Next is either more csm or a really weird collection of bits that might be vashtor

Bunny stage 2

It's been a bit since I've picked up a brush so I think this is a good sign I'm doing better. This model is the second stage of a headcannon tau charecter I've had for about a year.

Bit of a downgrade from her last suit but I'm really happy with how it turned out
