Ahh, brown curls aesthetics are so pretty, don’t you think?
Alice Miranda is said many times in the books to have cascading chocolate curls, and big brown eyes.
Alice Miranda usually wears her hair down, as shown when she visits Miss Grimm: “ ‘It must be the dry wind. All that static electricity in the air. It makes my curls very frizzy.’ She twisted a strand of hair around her finger. Miss Grimm stared.” This implies that Alice Miranda’s curls were down and loose. In the book illustrations on Jacqueline Harvey’s book covers, Alice Miranda’s hair is just longer than shoulder length, and she usually lets it down. She is also seen to be wearing it in messy pigtails (At Camp, and New York), as well as with a headband (At School) and lastly, messy ponytails with a bow or ribbon(In Paris and to the Rescue). It also says in the book: “Alethea pulled Alice Miranda’s pony-tail”. Aww, poor Alice Miranda!
In the books, Alice Miranda’s eyes are not commented upon much, but they are said to be brown, and big. In the cartoonish style of the book covers, her eyes are represented as big, but are the same size relatively as Millie and Jacinta.
(By the way, this post is not supposed to make you feel bad about yourself, or make you feel like you have to be change to be like Alice Miranda, or to be “perfect”. Remember, nobody is perfect, not even Alice Miranda, and as she would say: “You are great just the way you are, and do not need to change your hair or eyes to be like me,”)
That’s about it! Have fun being inspired! Thank you for reading!
