Oh, look who fell asleep outside. Though, considering how late it was, and how lovely the night was, it wasn't entirely surprising. A little dangerous, perhaps, to just fall asleep in a place like this, but if anyone happened to come along Kevin would just wake up anyway. It wasn't as though he was a particularly deep sleeper, and chances are he would be up in a few minutes.

1: Why did you start role playing?

[ Because I like to write, mostly! And I think roleplaying’s specifically really neat because it’s almost like writing a story in rounds… and so it’s a collaborative effort between you and at least one other person. You’re writing interactive stories with people all around the world. How awesome is that? ]

7: What is your preferred roleplaying style and why? (semi para/para/mirror etc)

[ Definitely para. If it suits the character or a scenario, I can use colons (like if it’s a modern setting and the character is typing out a text message or being taken down on a transcript), but I pretty much have always just used paragraph form. I don’t really like using asterisks for actions, but I don’t really mind if someone else uses them while we’re roleplaying. /shrugshrug ] 

8: If you knew your muse in RL would you be friends or enemies?

[ That… is actually an excellent question. ;; Something tells me we’d probably snark at each other and have witty insult battles… and then we’d sit around and laugh at people from behind our fans. ]

9: Is there a certain writing style or colloquialisms you have to use for you muse that changes from your own?

[ …GOD I WISH I COULD SAY YES, BUT… I often use Shakespearean turns of phrase in my daily conversations. /distant gaze/ I’ve been a Shakespeare scholar since I was very young, so talking and/or writing like this is… almost natural by this point. I’m from a very learned household with another literature major for a sister, and both my folks are Shakespeare buffs. So we sometimes all sit around and basically only talk like Rufus for several hours. ]

[ We'd totes be homies. I mean look at me; I'm, quite simply-- fabulous. ]

//You lost your own spider how come Oz's suppose to help you look for it as well? Gdi, Leo srsly? And there should be a law in Pandora that makes bullying people using chains prohibited.

[ i really like how sassy he is and his poncho and heels and also i like how your writing style is a little different for each character you play. how youre writing him now suits him well--if a writing style can be secretive and fashionable and sassy and determined all at once. ]

[ But definitely. Sometimes I have to wring a little silliness out of me so I can write more serious replies for him just because of that… I try to make the style I write in on each blog suit the character, and Barma is… well, he’s probably one of the trickier characters I’ve tackled. He loves to riddle out everyone else’s secrets, but it’s often difficult to attain any degree of intimacy without also revealing a little of yourself… And so he’s both invasive and distant, both impossibly decorated and curiously simple. I like the contrasts at play with Rufus, and so I try to reflect that in my writing and wordings for him. So thanks! This really means a lot! ]
