Got it! Sooo First idea: One of the colonists wakes up early from their cryosleep due to a malfunction and come across david. They're scared to go back into their chamber so David tries to fake pleasantries and keeps them around. However over time he grows fond of the biologist and tries to come to terms with his feelings because they are different thsn the obsessions he had before, his feelings strong enough to want to spare them.

I am Horny on Main for the homicidal android. …I may have turned him Yandere…I’m not sorry. 

It’s your gentility. Even Shaw had lacked the sheer amount of love in your heart for him. He knew you loved him, despite being an android. It complicated his plans. He wanted to use every last resource he had to complete his dream, but now the dream has shifted. 

Of course he wants to carry out his research, of course he hated every human soul aboard the ship, he had no use for them, but you were the exception. When he dreamed of a world filled with his creations, you were at his side. Would you love him then? Once you realized the monster he was? Could he stand losing you? 

He didn’t think he could lose you. Or rather, he knew he couldn’t lose you. You may hate him for what was to come, but he’d be damned if he let you slip through his fingers. As confused as he was, as appalled as he was, he would keep you. Come what may, you were his until death.

The Alien Syndrome.

Tonight, I watched Alien: Covenant. And while the movie could be better, it was OK.

But what amused me the most is that Ridley Scott did not step away from his own magical style of writing.

You see, back in 1979, my mother took me to see the first movie, ALIEN.

And while we both enjoyed it, my mother made an observation, at first, it was just her joking about..but came to be known between us as 'The Alien Syndrome.'

What is 'The Alien Syndrome.'

Well, Dallas shows us in the first few minutes after the Xenomorph hatches for Kane's chest, Dallas decides to get in the crawl spaces of the Nostromo and flush the pesky bugger out.

OK, that is fairly normal [HA!] thing to do.

Except, it isn't.

I asked my mom to explain.

One: It is an unknown, as of hatching, previous data tells us it has acid for blood, so if you catch the fucker, you have to be damn careful with it.

Two: It was strong enough to punch it's way out of a mans chest. I confirmed with a Doctor that you have to be very strong [Go ahead, arm wrestle a surgeon, you'll loose] to move ribs to begin with hence why they have a Rib spreader in most cases.

Three: It is fast, hella fast and as far as you know, small.. maybe even smaller than Jones the cat.

Four: It has wicked metal looking teeth and it hates everything.

So, yea.. let's get in the confined space and go pocking about. IE; Dallas is suffering from “The Alien Syndrome.”

But it does not stop there.

In our second movie, Aliens.

Ripley gives a full report about the “Alien” she encounter and I am sure she was very emphatic about the damn Alien nature of the Alien, IE; It went from tiny scary to Oh my Fucking God scary in very short order, and since it is a colony world, then there 'Might' be more [There are more]

Well, they get to the planet and Ripley keeps pointing out “Maybe we should go slow.” or “Are you sure about this shit.” and everyone keeps ignoring the “Expert” they brought with them to the point of everyone waking into the crawl space.

But wait!, lets disarm everyone first, k?!

Well, Alien 3 [A movie I pretend did not exist] avoids the TAS and just ends with Ripley doing a really lovely Jesus Pose/backward swan dive into oblivion.

Alien: resurrection [or as I like to call it “Alien: How bad could it be?”]

It sort of avoids it, but not really, see, instead of everyone clamoring to get in the crawl spaces, the “Company” [Wayland Yutani] decide to re-make the Kill Crazy lil buggers.. because that is such a great idea, right?.. right?.. yea?..

So, now a variant on TAS.

Instead of looking for crawl spaces, the whole damn ship is one big crawl space aaaaaand SCENE!

Alien: Prometheus

Lets make the Crawl space a planet! =D

Alien: Covenant: Planetary Crawl space 2.0!

So, if you ever in a sci-fi RPG and some knuckle head suggest crawling into the air ways to get the strange alien… shoot that fucker first.
